TERADYNE DIAGNOSTIC SOLUTIONS Launches i-VIEW Ultra At Testing Expo

Stuttgart, Germany - TERADYNE DIAGNOSTIC SOLUTIONS has launched its product, an integrated automotive tester named i-VIEW Ultra, which will offer unrivalled speed, power and reliability. The product is being showcased at Automotive Testing Expo Europe, Stuttgart, 8-10 May 2007, hall 4, stand 4226 .

The i-VIEW Ultra is an integrated tester that combines an exceptionally fast VCI (Vehicle Communications Interface) with a built-in PC, and supports in-plant flash programming over multiple channels concurrently. It is designed to cope with the modern production line environment, where huge volumes of data have to be reliably programmed and installed onto the correct vehicle, from an ever-growing file storage system, and then tested.

The basis of the i-VIEW Ultra is an extremely robust yet lightweight unit, which exceeds military standards for durability. The 6.5 VGA screen, with optional touch screen, gives a wide viewing angle and the device can be used and configured in several ways, including mounted on the steering wheel of any left or right-hand drive model. The fully integrated wireless PC (Windows XP) platform provides a completely stand-alone solution or seamless integration into a networked plant configuration.
