OTP Microcontrollers

Microchip Technology Inc.12 and PIC16C716 8-bit RISC one-time-programmable (OTP) microcontrollers offer 4-channel 8-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADC), brown-out detect, capture/compare/pulse-width-modulation (PWM) modules and three timers. Available in 18- and 20-pin packages, the devices provide an integrated cost-effective solution for many applications, such as carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors and battery chargers. Other applications for these two packages range from battery chargers, battery monitoring, carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors, florescent ballast control, sensor systems and instrumentation.
