NA 2002 creates a new Logistics Executive Forum with ARC Advisory Group

The Material Handling Industry of America has partnered with ARC Advisory Group to create an Executive Forum focused on Logistics. This forum will kick-off the start of the NA 2002 show and keynote its educational conference starting Monday, April 8 in Cobo Hall, Detroit, Michigan. The Logistics Executive Forum is for decision-makers in Material Handling and Logistics community who are seeking thought leadership.

The Executive Forum will feature industry leaders whose companies are at the forefront of ‘bricks and mortar' logistics execution and supply chain management. Steve Banker, Director of Supply Chain Solutions for ARC, will start the forum with his presentation "Achieving 6 Sigma Logistics". He will review the "Perfect Order" and applying 6 sigma methodology to measure, analyze, improve and control (MAIC) your operations. Three presentations by executives from manufacturing companies will follow Steve. They will discuss their successes for integration of material handling systems with their supply chain applications. The Forum will include a Q&A session with a panel of the speakers.

NA 2002 is sponsored by the Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) and focuses on the productivity solutions provided by material handling and logistics. The show is a four-day event that includes the products and services of over 400 material handling and logistics providers on the 180,000 square foot show floor.

The education conference occurs concurrent with NA 2002 and is sponsored by the Material Handling Institute and Materials Handling and Management Society (MHMS). Along with the Logistics Executive Forum, the NA 2002 Conference will also feature workshops and show floor educational seminars. The conference is designed to help manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and logistics operations be the most productive and efficient elements in their supply chain.
