MULTISEAL, INC Honored with the Ford Q1 Quality Award
A Q1 Plaque and Flag were presented to MultiSeal / Henkel by Paul Norkevicius, STA Commodity Engineer – Raw Materials, Ford Motor Company, at a flag raising ceremony held at the MultiSeal, Inc. headquarters in Evansville, Indiana.
The companies maintain the various industry quality standards such as QS 9000, ISO 14001, and now Ford Q1. MultiSeal, Inc., partners with Henkel Surface Technologies in the development, manufacturing, and delivery of various structural, NVH, acoustical, sealing, and stiffening parts supplied to the automotive industry.
At the ceremony, Paul Norkevicius presented the Q1 flag and plaque and stated, "We commend MultiSeal for this achievement and look forward to seeing the results of your efforts in the quality of the vehicles we produce. Please accept these symbols of your accomplishments, and display them proudly". Robert Rust, Senior Vice President of MultiSeal accepted the award from Paul with these comments, "I accept this award with tremendous pride. It represents the fulfillment of a long-term goal, and the reward for the hard work that went into making it a reality. I am very grateful to Ford Motor Company, to Henkel Surface Technologies, and most of all, to the employees of MultiSeal. Without their commitment and efforts we would not be here today." Barbara O'Leary, Director of Quality, and Lisa Morris, Quality Improvement Leader, represented HST at the event and had the following to say, "The revised Ford Q1 Award recognizes on-going quality achievement by MultiSeal and Henkel. In order to achieve and retain the revised Q1 status, MultiSeal has met Ford Motor Company's performance targets consistently for the past year and will continue to do so in the years to come. A significant amount of teamwork, effort, and knowledge was exhibited by the team in obtaining the Q1 status. Congratulations to everyone involved on a job well done." Norm Bristow, HST Account Executive for Ford Motor, also attended: "The Ford Q1 Award is one of the most recognized quality standards in the world. This achievement at MultiSeal will not only benefit our efforts with Ford, but will be recognized throughout the industry."
