Mitsubishi Electric Corporation is a public company which bears no legal affiliation to other companies which have the word "Mitsubishi" in their names. It is an independent company like other members of the "so called" Mitsubishi Group and is separately owned, managed and operated.

Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America, Inc. will continuously improve its operations in existing and new product sales, product quality, delivery, service, technical support and general business control to better satisfy the needs of our customer and our plants. A standard operating system is the cornerstone to support this mission.

Our parent, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (MELCO) was established in 1921. In 1979 MELCO created Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America (MEAA) in response to an increasing growth in U.S. and world-wide automotive business. MEAA applies all aspects of engineering, manufacturing, sales & marketing, distribution and service of electrical and electronic automotive systems and components for automobile manufacturers worldwide.

Our sales and products have continually increased since our initial business beginning. In fact, our sales growth has averaged over 100% per year since 1979.

Our customers include North American automotive manufacturers, most Japanese automotive manufacturers and select European automotive manufacturers.
