Keyence Corporation Of America Series Laser Scan Micrometer Systems provide 0.05-µm resolution. The series Controller processes data from up to four sets of scan heads. A touchscreen, menu-driven user interface simplifies the setup of system operating parameters. A Help facility guides the user through setup and operation. Automatic vibration correction is a standard feature of the logic, useful for applications such as the measurement of wire roundness during the wire drawing process. Other production applications include the measurement of object height on up to four separate production or assembly lines, the measurement of sheet and thin film thickness. Additional industrial applications include the measurement of gap between rollers and the measurement IC pin pitch during semiconductor manufacture.
