Over 5 percent of Kiekert's turnover is invested in research and development tasks. Thus we are able to offer car manufacturers considerable advance development services, which are usually decisive for the awarding of a development or production order. The increasing competition among international automobile manufacturers and the trend towards meeting individual customer wishes with a large number of models - something which involves high development costs - continues to force manufacturers to continuously improve their cost structures.
