The PXI-1020 chassis is a fully self-contained instrument platform with an integrated 6.4 in. LCD display, pointing device, and CD-ROM drive that are adjacent to eight PXI/CompactPCI slots. The PXI-1020 chassis can be installed in a 19-inch instrument cabinet, carried for portable applications, or used on the benchtop as a completely integrated modular instrument with all I/O accessible from the front. With the PXI-1020 chassis and a high-performance embedded computer running National Instruments LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI, a component of Measurement Studio, an user, instrument manufacturer, or systems integrator can rapidly develop a customized instrument by building on the standard PXI/CompactPCI modular instrumentation platform.
