Electric Adjustable Pedal Assembly

Teleflex Automotive Grouplectric Adjustable Pedal Assembly is an adjustable control pedal apparatus that is compatible with, and incorporates, an electronic throttle control arrangement in which the link between the pedal and the associated control device of the motor vehicle uses and electronic signal rather than a mechanical linkage.

The pedal assembly includes a support member, a carrier pivotally supporting a pedal assembly, and a drive mechanism for moving the carrier in fore-and-aft directions along the support member. A potentiometer is associated with the pedal assembly to generate an electric control signal that varies in response to movement of the pedal relative to the carrier.

The pedal also includes a resistance assembly with a spring member reacting between the pedal and the carrier to provide resistance feedback.

In operation, the position of the pedal relative to the operator is selectively adjusted by energizing the drive mechanism that moves the carrier along the support member.
