DestinoGPS, The Exclusive Distributor Of Mio PNDs In Mexico, Signs Agreement With NAVTEQ
Chicago, IL - NAVTEQ, a leading global provider of digital map data for vehicle navigation and location-based solutions, has announced that it has signed an agreement to supply NAVTEQ map data of Mexico directly to DestinoGPS, a leading navigation device retailer and the exclusive distributor of Mio brand PNDs in Mexico. Products are available for sale in over 1,000 retail stores in Mexico such as RadioShack, Costco, Sam's Club, Palacio de Hierro, Telmex and others. Mio PNDs can also be found at DestinoGPS stores throughout Mexico or online at http://www.destinogps.com.
Mio PNDs sold by DestinoGPS utilize the most recent release of NAVTEQ map data of Mexico. NAVTEQ map data of Mexico includes 2,454 cities, over 450,000 km of roads and covers the entire population. NAVTEQ's extensive POI database containing over 59,000 listings such as restaurants, hotels, gas stations and banks is also included in addition to road network coverage.
