The Plumley Division of Dana Corporation announced today that its Silicone Plant located in Paris, TN has achieved certification to the ISO-14001 standard. ISO-14001 is an international environmental management system, which addresses a company's commitment to protecting the environment. Certification involves an assessment of the organization's environmental management system against the requirements of the ISO-14001 standard and the subsequent issuing of a certificate to confirm conformance. Maintenance of registration requires an organization to continually monitor their activities and progress, including internal audits, management reviews, and registrar surveillance audits.

"We are committed to protecting the environment, our people, and our community. Our goal to certify all five Plumley Division manufacturing sites by year-end 2002 reflects continual improvement of environmental initiatives. We feel that ISO-14001 certification is in line with the Dana Style and is simply the right thing to do," commented Ed Krestancic, Plumley Division General Manager.

Plumley Division, a part of Dana's Engine Systems Group, is headquartered in Paris, TN and is a leading manufacturer in sealing systems and powertrain components for the automotive industry.
