Coatings

Lord Corporationew coatings have been developed under the Autoseal banner: "Soft-Feel" and Doming Coatings. The "soft-feel" coatings allow customers to create a softer finish on a variety of interior surfaces, including consoles, dashboards and steering wheels. The doming coatings produce a transparent, protective "dome" to enhance logos and graphics on emblems or decals.

The primary feature of the Autoseal 3900 series of "soft-feel" coatings is a softer tactile surface to ABS plastic, vinyl and metal surfaces. These alipathic urethanes offer low-gloss appearance and flexibility, making them suitable for a range of interior applications.

The 2520 series of doming coatings are transparent alipathic urethanes designed to adhere to metal or glass surfaces. Because of their surface tension and viscosity, they can be poured over a flat decal.
