In 1996, Michigan-based AutoWeb Communications, Inc., an innovator in the development and integration of large-scale computer applications, launched the AutoWeb® system. AutoWeb was designed to provide original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and trading partners in the automotive and aerospace industries with a highly secure environment to communicate electronically. Today, more than 5,000 trading partners and OEMs throughout the world place their confidence in the AutoWeb virtual private network to securely transfer confidential data, access electronic engineering documents and exchange secure E-mail.

Subscribers can easily access the AutoWeb network with a modem, ISDN service, or from several secure VANs, including AIAG's Automotive Network Exchange. Although AutoWeb employs Internet technology, the system operates independently of the public Internet. Information on AutoWeb is secure, yet more accessible, translating to greater productivity for its subscribers. A Web browser interface allows subscribers to efficiently exchange encrypted files through designated mailboxes.

Already ACI has forged strong, international relationships and earned a reputation for delivering expedient, dependable service that regularly saves time and money for its customers. As a subscriber, you will soon find AutoWeb to be the most efficient, reliable and cost-effective way to communicate with your trading partners.
