Hitachi features 128 KB of single voltage Flash to its H8S series of 16-bit microcontrollers (MCUs). The H8S/2144 and H8S/2134 MCUs offer a combination of performance and on-chip Flash density.
These devices operate at 20 MHz while providing single-cycle execution for the instructions used most frequently.
The functionality and performance of the H8S/2144 and H8S/2134 are a match for cellular phones, portable PC system management functions, disk drives, CD-ROM drives, airbag deployment control, automotive ride/handling controllers, industrial control applications, and smart-card readers.
