With the drive toward a cleaner environment, air quality is becoming a very important concern. To this end, the Emissions Calculator can offer you an effective way to calculate combustion products from any natural gas-powered device. It can perform these calculations using a variety of units. It offers a good way for engineers or others to quickly calculate complete exhaust gas compositions or convert between emission values in a variety of different unit types. Just enter the composition and flow rate of natural gas and the measured amounts of exhaust oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and unburned hydrocarbons (HC) in any units. The program will then determine the complete exhaust gas composition (including carbon dioxide, water, and nitrogen) in 10 different unit types. Emissions Calculator will also calculate actual, theoretical, and excess air as well as the mole weight of the exhaust gas using actual natural gas fuel properties or default values.
