Sights selected to lead Textron Automotive

Textron is making some top level changes. Jack Sights, 53, is the new president and CEO of the $3 billion Textron Automotive Company(Troy, MI). He replaces Sam Licavoli, who was shifted over to lead the company's industrial products group last month. Sights previously served as leader of Textron Fastening Systems. Before coming to Textron last year, he served as president of Guardian Industries. His focus at Textron Automotive will be to drive growth and develop leverage capabilities. The firm employs 16,000 in 18 countries.
Meanwhile, Joachim Hirsch, 48, has been selected as the new CEO of $2.3 billion Textron Fastening. He joined Textron last year as CEO of Kautex Textron, which makes fuel systems, plastic fuel tanks and blow-molded components. Before joining Textron, Hirsch was COO of Magna Europe and held several top management positions at TRW.
