To insure visibility in adverse conditions, lines of electrically-conductive material are printed on the inner surface of the glass to form a grid. Applying electrical current to the grid generates heat, which effectively clears away condensation, frost ice, and snow. HEATLITE brand laminated glass is designed to take advantage of the insulating, heat-resistant and incombustible qualities of glass.
Silver-Paste ink is screen printed onto the surface of the glass and is fired into it during the tempering process.
This results in a system that is resistant to weathering and abrasion and provides exceptional performance for many years.
