Product/Service
Meeting world-class standards requires predictable performance under widely diverse conditions for extended periods. Worldclass vehicles, and the thousands of components they're built with, must withstand the rigors of heat, cold, humidity, salt and all the other destructive curves nature can throw at them.
ACT Laboratories' environmental testing capabilities can determine how your designs perform under the harshest conditions. Documented test reports allow you to compare your products against industry specifi-
cations or to establish new benchmarks of your own.
"State-of-the-art" environmental testing equipment
We've carefully selected our test equipment to offer customers the greatest versatility in environmental test procedures. Each of these chambers is computer controlled to allow for
precisely controlled ramping speeds in order to duplicate any desired condition or specific cycling strategy.
Environmental test temperature conditions range from -100° F (-73° C) to +355° F (+178° C), surpassing every predictable natural extreme.
- Two cyclic corrosion chambers can be programmed for the complete range of temperatures, plus any combination of humidity, full water or saltwater immersion, or salt spray
- Simple hot/cold cycling chambers
- Humidity chambers, including two that simulate condensation and two where fog is induced
- Thermal shock
chambers that produce rapid high and low temperature changes
- Salt spray chambers that simulate seaside or winter driving exposures
