Emvironmental Road Simulation
Many body related issues are well simulated using Environmental Four Post Road Simulation, especially those that are sensitive to vertical wheel inputs and environmental conditions.
When compared to proving ground durability testing, a Four Post Road Simulation is quicker, more repeatable and has the advantage of being able to control vibration and thermal input conditions simultaneously.
Both Defiance simulators are housed in large drive-in environmental chambers capable of a temperature range of-40C to +85C and humidity control from 20 to 90% RH. Near Infra-red simulated solar loading is also available.
The Defiance staff has been performing simulation testing for over a decade. This experience, combined with a dedicated Structural Simulation Lab and state of the art hardware and MTS RPC III software, assures proper test design and execution.
