July 21, 2000
Dana's Plumley Division (Paris, TN) officially unveiled a new 50,000-square-foot thermoplastic sealing center in Paris, TN on Thursday. The plant will produce injection and blow molding thermoplastics for cam cover modules, air induction systems, plastic carrier-style gaskets and a mix of plastic powertrain components. It's expected to employ some 100 employees by fall, says Plumley GM Tom Dalton. The company says the facility will manufacture more than 100 part numbers this year.
